Volume Lashes Extension

Volume lashes are achieved by placing two to six lightweight lashes on one natural lashes. The most common lash diameters for volume lashing are 0.05, 0.06, 0.07 and 0.10.

The following information will demonstrate the weight of volume lashes in comparison to classic lash diameters. All weights are based on 12mm extensions. Weighed in grams:

.05 diameter = .00005 grams

.07 diameter = .00006 grams

.10 diameter = .00010 grams

.12 diameter = .00013 grams

.15 diameter = .00015 grams

.20 diameter = .00030 grams

Using this diagram, you can see that placing up to six .05 diameter lashes, four .07 diameter lashes, or three .10 diameter lashes on a natural lash and it will equal the same weight as one .20 diameter classic lash.
